About Zimbali

Zimbali, (Zulu for “Valley of Flowers” ) Coastal and Forest Estate is a protected environment in a haven of naturally occurring lakes and wetlands. It is home to a wide variety of indigenous flora as well as wildlife. There are magnificent Butterflies, such as the Citrus Swallowtail, many beautiful species of antelope and it is a birdwatcher’s paradise, with possible sightings of the rare Narina Trogon, not to mention the many monkeys that swing past on trees. The Ocean provides more enjoyment, where Dolphins swim past daily and sightings of whales can be observed

Activities

Golf

The superb championship golf-course, designed by former British Open and S.A. PGA Golf champion , Tom Weiskopf , has been designed specifically for use by golf cart and offers a very scenic golf experience. In the Bali style Clubhouse (with locker rooms) you can enjoy a variation of meals and snacks from a traditional English breakfast to the renowned Curry made by the Indians in Natal.

These areas are accessible on foot or by golf-cart and also have restaurants serving enjoyable meals. In addition there are floodlit tennis courts, putt putt, an astro turf, jungle gyms with play areas, cricket nets, a driving range and one of the pools even has slides. There is really something for everyone!
